I know, I know I haven't blogged in so long and I apologize. The auction has been sucking up all of my free time and I have barely had time to keep up with my normal life. The good news is that the auction is February 23rd! I am so excited for it and to see all of the hard work come to fruition but I can't wait to have a little bit of life back. As far as the updates...(deep breath) here goes.
Matthew is finishing up indoor soccer and loving it. It is so much fun watching him play. It is so fast paced because there is no out of bounds so the clock doesn't stop. He is playing on a team with some of the kids of the soccer camp he has been attending since October. It is amazing to see how his skills have improved in such a short amount of time. He just started basketball so I am excited to see how he likes it:)
Maggie is still tap/ballet dancing and loving every minute of it. She is preparing for her ballet recital in June and is so adorable. She is learning choreography and it is cute to watch her learn and grasp the moves. I am very proud of her. She loves pre school and told us she wants to try soccer. I think it is a little due to the fact that her brother plays it but we are going to give it a try!
Peter is the happiest baby there ever was! Seriously, I got so lucky! He is 7 months old soon (gulp) and I didn't even post about his 6 month check up. At it he was 16 lbs 14 oz and right on track for everything. He had his eyes checked a couple of weeks ago and so far, so good! He is busy eating up a storm and about to cut 4 teeth...chewing on EVERYTHING! His new trick is to get on his hands and knees and rock (double gulp...not ready for the crawl yet). He can just about sit by himself, although I wouldn't leave him alone quite yet. He is trying so hard to talk and of course I want mama to be his first word...probably going to be dada since I heard him say something almost like it:( Oh well...He likes to grab my face and give me open mouthed slobber kisses which is about the best thing in the world!
Other than that, same ol' same ol'. We leave for Hawaii in early March so that will be a great get away to cap off the auction! I have just started back at the gym. It is very slow going and literally my scale hasn't budged an inch but I do feel much better! It is sanity right now. I have been making a cake here and there and I will post pictures of my latest one. It is a tad unusal but hey I don't request them, I just bake them. It is a divorce cake and I think it turned out pretty darn good myself:) Chris is still busy at work and busy in dental politics which makes me happy that he is following his passion.
Wow, this is starting to sound like a Christmas card letter! Ha! That is the update and I will post pictures and video because I know that is all you care about anyway:)
