End of October Happenings!

We have just been plugging along here.  Having more good days than bad (always crazy) but I am feeling like I can get the hang of life!  Terese came for a long weekend which was awesome!  We went to the spa one afternoon and spent way too much money getting pampered but damn it felt good.  I needed it for sure! Maggie and Matthew had their school pictures and since we know the owner of the company that takes the pictures (Dorian...their daughter is in Matthew's class) he thought it would be funny to take a fun picture of Matthew and try and email it to me like this was his actual picture!  Totally cute!

We went to the pumpkin patch yesterday to get some pumpkins and pumpkin donuts (most important!) We did the 45 minute version because it was chilly, the crowds started to come, and Peter was not having it!  He doesn't understand the awesomeness of Greenbluff yet!  We will give him a year until he can have some pumpkin donuts!!! 

Of course I had to post the latest self portrait of Maggie!  She is so funny:)

This upcoming week will hold school Halloween parties and the annual Tick or Treat Herzog family night here.  Chris' family comes over for soup and we Trick or Treat in our little safe neighborhood!  We have been doing it for 6 years now and it is really fun!
