We finally made it over to visit my Grandma Berry (mom's mom) aka Gee Gee. It was so much fun to see her and it was the first time that she met Maggie. We got a couple of really good pictures of her and the kids. She is the best and has the sweetest stories:) Love ya Gee.

Well actually it was a couple of days ago, but I wanted to wait and post some photos after her appointment so I could get her stats! She is 13lbs and 3 oz which is 38% but 26.5 inches long which is 99%!!! That is a Herzog for you...skinny and tall:) She is doing great but we are going to work on the rolling over part: she seems to get stuck on her side. She had her first taste of rice cereal today and seemed to like it. Probably because it mostly tasted like breast milk but I'll take it!

Mattias and Nicole

So my parents graciously drove over for the weekend so we could go to the Gonzaga Prep auction for some adult time. We went with Chris' brother, Mattias, and his wife, Nicole. We had a really good time (the theme was denim and diamonds) until I felt really sick and had to come home early. I was bummed because we don't get out that often and we were having a good time but that is life I guess. I did get some cute pictures of the 4 of us!

I wanted to do a trial run for Matthew's birthday cake. It is a Thomas the Tank Engine theme this year and let's just say it is not easy to find things for the party. I had to buy the cake pan off ebay and I paid way more money than it is worth. Not very many websites sell Thomas stuff. Isn't it crazy what you do for your kids!?! Thought it turned out pretty well considering it was my first time!

We were quite busy today. First we went to Chris' cousin's house for brunch and then we went to his brother's house for dinner. Matthew didn't have a nap and was totally done when we left (sugar high and all) but it was fun to see family and eat ham galore!

My Little Sleepy Head

Ever since we took the binkies away, Matthew's naps have been sporadic. Sometimes I can get him down and sometimes I just say "forget about it" and let him play. More often than not, I come down after putting a movie on for quiet time and he is sacked out on the couch. Sometimes I wonder how he can be comfortable but I don't dare move him and wake him up!!!

We got back from California yesterday and we had a great trip. The kids were awesome on the airplane (both ways), the weather was very nice, the quick trip to Temecula for the wedding went smooth, and the visit with Amy and Jadon was amazing as usual. I wish we could have spent more time there but it was time to come home. At least it wasn't snowing when we got back! Here are a few pictures of the events. Not as many as I would have liked to take but oh well.
