Oh Mylanta

Poor Maggie! She has been suffering from acid reflux and was reminding me of this from 2:30 am-4:30 am for a couple of nights. I knew I couldn't just let this go (although I gently reminded her that this is how she made me feel for 9 months!) so I called my pediatrician (I LOVE him) and they told me to give her Mylanta. Wow did this work. She was like a whole new baby last night and slept beautifully. Here are a couple of pictures of her sleeping like an angel!

Wine Rack

Yeah our wine rack is here and it looks amazing. It is located on the wall by the stairs going down to the basement and it holds 92 bottles!!

Girl's Night Out!

Some of my girl friends went out for some drinks and we had a great time. I think I had a bit too good of a time because I was a bit hungover but it was all worth it! I can't wait to do it again:) (Minus the hungover part!!)

My Photographer, Matthew

So Matthew has been into taking our camera around the house and taking radom pictures. Some of them actually don't turn out half bad for a 2 1/2 year old photographer so I decided to post them. (Some of them are not my best, just to forewarn!!) It is kind of cute looking at the pictures through his eyes.

A Great Trip to Seattle

We went to Seattle for a couple of days and was great to see the family! My sister, Rachel, finally got to meet Maggie which was so awesome! The drive wasn't even half bad. We only had to stop once to feed each way. All in all, it was a great trip.

Two Peas in a Pod

Let me preface this entry by saying that I very much love my husband and son (and Maggie too but this is not about her!). But they are like two peas in a pod. When Chris is frustrated by Matthew's behavior (and trust me it is easily done) he will have a talk with him and Matthew responds and acts JUST like Chris would. This of course frustrates Chris and it does me too, but I can observe just how alike they are and how, even at two years old, Matthew can totally push Chris' buttons! They are both stubborn Herzog's which is a trait I both love and dislike about them.

Play date fun

We went over to my friend, Anne's, house for a little play date. We got some good shots of the boys and Maggie before Matthew had a melt down and it was time to go! Andre was really into holding Maggie and it was really cute! Hopefully we can get together again and not end it in meltdown mode.

OK I am guilty of it too!

I always tease Chris how I have a bazillion pictures of him sleeping with the kiddos. Well last night about 6pm I shut my eyes with Maggie for just a minute and the next thing I knew it was 8:30pm! It felt really good. The whole time I could hear Chris and Matthew playing Wii sports and eating an apple! I wish I was awake to get pictures of that! Well Chris found the camera so here is the evidence!

More Family Time

I guess the good thing about being "stuck" inside for a bit is that we have been spending some really good family time together playing and watching movies! So far (and trust me, I really cross my fingers!) Matthew is really taking to Maggie. He loves to hold her and hang onto her binkies just in case she needs them:) It is pretty sweet!

More Christmas Pictures

Oma and Opa (Chris' parents) with all their grandchildren
My dad (Papa) with Maggie

My mom (Mimi) with Maggie

Well the weather outside is frightful...

Wowza! That is the only way I can describe the weather for the last 3 weeks. I guess I should consider myself lucky that I have been a bit housebound because of Maggie! My dear friend, Jadon, found this article online and I had to post the link with a few pictures because it is the perfect explination. I am so used to it now that I don't really notice the mounting snow but I can see how it would drive some people mad!!! I am going to tuck this away because in 6 months I will be begging for snow:)
